The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair That Changed America - Erik Larson Harvest Home - Thomas Tryon Whom the Gods Would Destroy - Brian Hodge The Memory Tree - John R. Little Ugly As Sin - 'James Newman', 'Shock Totem' Beyond The Door (Delirium Novella Series) - Jeffrey Thomas I Travel by Night - Robert R. McCammon The Light Is the Darkness - Laird Barron We Have Always Lived in the Castle - Shirley Jackson, Thomas Ott, Jonathan Lethem The Underdwelling - Tim Curran

Look at all those awesome covers up there! These are my favorite books of the 145 that I've read this year. There's one non-fiction (I can't say enough good things about Devil in the White City), a couple of fantastic novellas (Robert McCammon and Brian Hodge I'm looking at you!), and some down home classic horror novels. (Seriously, if you haven't read Thomas Tryon's Harvest Home   or Shirley Jackson's We Have Always Lived in the Castle, you are missing out on some of the best that horror has to offer.

I am hoping to have yet another great year of reading and discovering new authors!
