A giant wave of molasses 50 feet high traveling at approximately 35 mph came rushing down the streets of Boston and wiped out everything in its path.
That's some crazy shit right there. Can you imagine what that must have been like? Molasses stuck to the streets for years according to some reports.
I am excited because today I picked up the book Dark Tide and I'm going to learn some more about it. It's interesting to read books about local history and I'm really looking forward to this one.
